DARRELL BROWN (Manitoba) Darrell Brown is a member of the Métis Nation of Canada and has been an active entrepreneur for over eight years. Darrell has worked extensively with Canadian Aboriginal communities and organizations over the past several years in business planning, resource access negotiations, tourism product development and global marketing, market research, procurement and many other areas of economic development. Darrell is President of Kisik Marketing & Communications Ltd, a 100% Aboriginal owned company formed five years ago to serve the marketing needs of the Aboriginal tourism industry in Canada. Darrell is past vice chair of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Indigenous Trade Committee which successfully initiated a Memorandum of Understanding for trade with The Minnesota American Indian Chamber of Commerce. Darrell has participated with the International Indian Treaty Council in fair trade meetings in Guatemala and has presented at the 2001 and 2002 annual meetings of the United Nations Working Group on Indigenous Peoples in Geneva, Switzerland. Darrell holds an Advanced Diploma in International Business and currently resides in Winnipeg. He is a member of The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and The Association for International Business.
